Welcome back! A new year has brought a new look to the Scholarship Connection, however, all the information remains the same. Check out the tabs above for helpful hints and links to aid you in your search for scholarship money. In the next few weeks we will be releasing our first Scholarship Bulletin, until then, please take a look at the following reminders:
1) Previous year’s scholarship bulletins have been removed from the site. That way if you use the “search” function to find a specific scholarship you will not be directed to out-of-date information.
2) An electronic copy of each scholarship bulletin is also distributed to high school teachers and a hard copy is placed on the scholarship file drawer in the Guidance Office. The information is all the same – so students and parents should pick the method of receiving updates that works best for them.
3) This website is intended to share information on local scholarships with our school community in a concise, efficient manner. More information and the actual scholarship applications can always be found in the Guidance Office.
3) The scholarships posted here are just those that are advertised through the South West Guidance Office. Many more scholarships are available at the local and national level. It is the responsibility of each student/family to seek out and apply for scholarships. Click on “Helpful Links” and “Scholarship Tips” above for more information on finding scholarships.
4) If you have any questions or concerns about this website please email Mrs. B: rachel_berkebile@swsd.k12.pa.us.
Finally: Do you know someone who might be interested in receiving scholarship updates from SW Guidance? Please share this website with others and encourage them to subscribe!
