It is through the generosity of local individuals, families, and businesses that we are able to offer more than 160 scholarship opportunities. TFEC is the largest provider of scholarships in South Central, Pennsylvania, awarding over $1 million in scholarships to more than 400 local students alone through various scholarship funds administered by TFEC and through management agreements with the Samuel L. Abrams Foundation, the Leon Lowengard and Ray S. Shoemaker scholarships of BNY Mellon, N.A. and York Rotary Club.

Whether honoring loved ones or providing for specific communities, each scholarship expresses a deep belief in the power of education to help today’s youth achieve their dreams.

How to use the Scholarship Connection

As the SWHS counseling office is made aware of scholarship opportunities we will post them here.  We will post a short summary of the amount, criteria, etc. as well as a link to the online application OR a PDF of a paper application.  Our hope is that students can use this site to quickly and efficiently search for scholarship opportunities.  Students are responsible for regularly checking scholarship openings, completing applications, and submitting on time.

All scholarships posted here will also be emailed DIRECTLY to 12th grade students’ school email account.  Students can search their email for previously sent scholarship opportunities.
